As some of you know, my best friend Amanda is the one who got me hooked on photography! Well, occasionally we use our own children as photographic subjects. We recently decided to make a trip down to Bald Knob Cross, a Southern Illinois landmark and the place where Amanda was married. We always have a good time when we get together (which isn’t often enough) and we got some great photos too!

This amazing aunt brought her nieces to see me a little while back. She wanted to do a surprise session for their mom and grandma. What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift! We were worried that little sis wouldn’t be able to keep a secret but she did great and mom and grandma had an amazing Mother’s Day!
